We take no responsibility is an exponentially growing exhibition. Here the invited artists each invites two further artists to exhibit. Every half hour new works by the then arriving artists are installed. This is a performative experiment, which explores the social and professional cross-relations in the art milieus. The installed exhibits will connect with and cross each other, so that their usual context is altered.

Founded in 2012 by Anna Kristine Holmberg and Amalie Gabel. The event reoccurs every year in November at a new place.

We will perform the exhibition Curatorial Tongues. A daily changing event. From early morning and until midday we will put up a show about the show. Exhibit our discussions, disagreements, excitement and fears as it happens. Pause. And welcome to the opening. Again. When afternoon comes, we will slowly take down the show, making the booth ready for the following day. Repaint the walls and go home.

Braiding soft knots into steel sheets

"Thoughts are put into movement and something happens. But to be really sure, that that what you are thinking is right, is never really possible."

"In the process of this I will show the hard and unyielding squared steel pipes juxtaposed with the soft, bending surfaces of fabrics.
The tents are going to have a heavy, permanent character and a rooted presence in the room. "

Claim to Fame

If You can dream it You can do it! Being an Artist is no easy game but dreaming of being an Artist is even more difficult. Hence the journey towards the Art of Life must go beyond. We can do it!
First of all You must dig deep to discover the core of Your Creative Soul. Next You buy what it takes. Then You manifest The Work. Until You realize that producing The Form is only a tiny, tiny, tiny part of Being An Artist of Life. So you start producing Yourself in the Image of Your Artist Life.

The Ghost of a Rose

Four blades of grass are falling, against night black. Nearby, a sculpture is thinking of its past.
The blades of grass are made of oblique green crescents, quickly but precisely inscribed into a canvas. CalledPyramide, this painting was made by Judith Kisner, whose pictures are like frame captures from the margins of seeing, where vision has a vibrant opacity. The daydreaming sculpture is a recent work by Eun Kyung Kim, called Mercury. When We Rule

"Between dream and reality, I am awakened. Its dark outside, the rumbling of the bus trying to pull me back to sleep. We just crossed the border from Germany to Denmark. The lights are making a collected effort to shake all of us out of our dreams, while turtles in black uniforms are walking down the aisles yelling for passports and tickets. When the landscape starts moving again, the silhouettes of the former residents of the bus are contained by a cone of orange, as I fall asleep in the country between dreams."

Daniel Hopp's „AGGRO ASYL“ has an important role as statement on the history of German rap as tool to form an identity and as a counter offensive against clichés and fear. It is provocative in a way that makes everyone secretly sensationalist say something very stupid.
Also, we will be screening his new movie "PARADIES".

Julienne Timm's work constructs a bridge between diversity of a past and future. Thus, a metaphor.
